The Toast & Meltâ„¢ floating hinge feature allows the top plate to remain flat on the bread, no matter how thick the sandwich is. Simply adjust the top plate to one of four fixed height settings and 'voila'! The bottom plate toasts the bread from underneath, while the top plate sits slightly above to melt cheese onto the bread. Crispy open melt sandwiches without the mess. Enough space to make two big sandwiches at once.
